ramblings of playing through DQ1
Hello, i'm nave and I just finished the HD2D remake of dragon quest 1 and it really made me think a lot about JRPG genre that i'd like to share. Unfortunately i didn't take like any screenshots when plaything through this game because i'm fucking stupid so your just gonna have to imagine a lot of the things I describe, with that out of the way lets begin. So when naming a character I more often then not just use whatever the default however I don't think there is one for our protagonist so my second option is then naming them after a dead guy. I started doing this a few years ago when getting into the souls series and when I pick a dead person its actually just random but it is usually affected by recency bias so I named him after the legendary secretary of state Henry Kissinger.
